Gate construction is well under way on the Mill Run section and on Graces Cabin Road. We anticipate having the majority of gate construction completed by mid-September. Please keep in mind that while the gates are installed and until Potomac Edison provides power and county inspectors approve installation, the gates will remain open. We cannot control the timing of Potomac Edison power activation or municipal inspections. 

 

Lock boxes collected at deconstructed manual gates have been removed and will be available at the Annual Meeting for collection or by appointment. Please contact president@bluffsonthepotomac.com

 

We will provide all the information you need to use the new electric gates including new gate codes by USPS mail and email prior to activation for your use and to allow you to communicate with contractors.

 

 

Our road contractor is currently doing annual work on our roads in August and September during daylight weekday hours including regrading certain sections and tailgating new gravel on the roads. PLEASE SLOW DOWN on these newly graveled roads. Excessive speed can cause flat tires until the gravel crushes and compacts. Additionally, gate and road construction may cause minor delays in entering and exiting the Bluffs. Please take this into account in your travel plans.
